| 23. ridge
Where would we make play krishn?
Let us choose the thickets of the ridges
And the red earth.
I'd wear anklets for you. Dorn bangles till my elbow. Wrap a sari with no blouse.
And among the rocks
Among the brambles
You'd play your flute,
I'd draw flowers on my left palm,
And sing softly
What they sing in the hills
Act sullen,
While you beat time with a little finger
Upon your thigh. next: with the cows |
