 luis' collection the ant man reads more disciplined than his earlier works published (which were high on flair). the prose is plainer, tighter and the verse drawn to the point of cadence. the poems in this collection are intense and the motiff of the 'outsider' bewildered by his human brethren runs through beautifully.
